Charts use reported Costco figures only; no analyst consensus is included. Q1, Q2 and Q3 each contain 12 weeks. Q4 results are not yet part of these charts.
Why Costco's year-end report needs a different comparison
Costco's fourth quarter covers 16 weeks, while each of the first three quarters covers 12 weeks. A raw Q4 sales total will therefore be larger partly because it includes four more weeks; comparable-sales growth, membership fees, margins and per-share earnings provide a cleaner reading of operating momentum.
By the end of the July retail period, net sales for the first 48 weeks of fiscal 2026 were $273.55 billion, up 10.1% from a year earlier. Monthly sales releases reveal much of the sales trend before earnings day, but the full report adds membership fees, operating income, net income, EPS and year-end financial statements.

What matters in Costco's Q4 report
01
Comparable sales by market
Read the adjusted U.S., Canada and international rates alongside the headline number so gasoline and currency moves do not obscure the underlying sales trend.
02
Membership-fee economics
Membership-fee revenue, renewal behavior and Executive Member penetration help show whether Costco's recurring model is strengthening beyond merchandise sales.
03
Profit and cost control
Net income, diluted EPS, merchandise costs and selling expenses matter because Costco operates with deliberately thin merchandise margins.
